Genesis Partners Names New Director

Mike Hager has been named the new director of resort and leisure services for Genesis Partners and brings more than 30 years of experience to his new post.  In addition to being an advocate of first-rate service and hospitality, he has expertise in operations, revenue production, cost control, staff training, planning and development and guest satisfaction. Jamie Corton, managing partner for Genesis Partners says, “We are very fortunate to have Mike as part of our leadership team.  His experience – as well as his intuition – is rare.  We have the absolute best candidate to assist us with the management of our facilities at Charles Pointe. Hager’s responsibilities at Genesis Partners will include overseeing all leisure service facilities and programs including the golf courses, food and beverage outlets and all the sporting club and daily operations of the new conference center. Hager’s experience includes eight years on the executive staff at The Greenbrier and six years at Olgebay, among other experiences with both public and private sectors.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in resource management from West Virginia University and a master’s degree in business administration from Wheeling Jesuit University.  He is a certified hotel administrator, trained by the American Hotel and Lodging Association and a graduate of the general manager’s program through the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.  Hager is a certified parks and recreation professional as well. For more information about Hager, visit www.genesis-partners.com.
