Recognized for his leadership skills and management success, a series of promotions and opportunities over nearly four decades took Ludwig to hotel, resort, conference, and catering operations in North Carolina, Texas, Nebraska, Washington, Oklahoma and California. In 2007, he jumped at the opportunity to return with his family back to West Virginia when he joined Stonewall Resort as Director of Sales & Marketing. Ludwig would spend ten years at Stonewall Resort before joining Charles Pointe Hospitality in 2018.
"From its very start, Charles Pointe set out to be north central West Virginia's premier location to live, work, raise a family, recreate and retire," Ludwig said. "I can't tell you how excited I am to be part of making that vision a reality when it comes to the hospitality we provide."

"Charles Pointe's vision is to set the standard for local hospitality and quality service in West Virginia. I'm pleased for the opportunity to lead such a dedicated team of professionals and owners who share that vision," Ludwig said.
Ludwig and his wife Vikki are residents of Bridgeport. They are the parents of Daniel Ludwig and Maggie Ludwig, both graduates of Bridgeport High School.
