Bridgeport, WV. On Tuesday, October 18th, Genesis Partners hosted a groundbreaking and luncheon to welcome and announce that Menards will be the very first national brand retailer to locate at Charles Pointe's newest development. Menards is a family owned business with more than 330 super centers throughout the country.
Charles Pointe Crossing is a 67-acre retail development that Genesis Partners recently completed along Interstate 79 in Bridgeport with a site development cost of $24.6 million. The main entrance to Charles Pointe Crossing is located on 279 just off I-79 Exit 124.
Kris Warner, the Executive Director of the WV Economic Development Authority, represented Governor Jim Justice at the luncheon and the groundbreaking. He joined elected officials and business leaders from Harrison County and the city of Bridgeport to welcome Menards to Charles Pointe Crossing.
Menards is headquartered in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Jeff Abbott, a senior executive with Menards, represented the Menards family.
