North Central West Virginia is chock full of Italian heritage, but one new Bridgeport restaurant lets its customers make Italian their way.
Mia Market, an extension of Mia Margherita Coal Fired Pizzeria and Trattoria, is opening next door to its namesake at Charles Pointe Commons on July 13. The grand opening will be held at 11 a.m. with a ribbon cutting by the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce.
The market-style restaurant will offer a variety of options perfect for those on the go. Choose gourmet sandwiches, grab-and-go lunch bags, fresh salads or classic Mia Margherita pizza (sold by the slice) to make your perfect meal. Beverage options abound as well, with wine by the bottle, craft beer and an espresso bar to keep you moving.
The Market will be open Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
"Mia Market gives us an opportunity to offer an expanded line of Italian specialty items in a casual market environment. Many of Mia Margherita's signature items will now be available for retail purchase in our market," Scott Duarte said, managing director and operator for CP Hospitality.
As Charles Pointe's first and only full service deli, Mia Market will give you the opportunity to select from a large variety of Italian specialty items, including top quality deli meats, cheeses and relishes. But these aren't just the classic items you know and love: Mia Market will feature a full line of Boar's Head products that includes options you won't find in the grocery store. You'll still have the option to take them home though, as the Market Deli will sell its items individually, as well as in sandwiches.
These sandwiches aren't just your run-of-the-mill lunchtime options. Guests can build their own, choosing everything from bread, meats and cheese to veggies and toppings. Put these high-quality ingredients in any combination you want to find the perfect meal.
If that's not enough, create your favorite six pack from the wide selection of craft beers available. With several local brews, Mia Market will let you choose the best of West Virginia, too.
There will be seating options in the restaurant for those looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of their day, but it also offers its options in quick to-go form for those trying to keeping up their hectic pace.
You can also get it to-go for more than one. Mia Market will feature a full catering and takeout menu to feed groups of any size. Sandwich platters and specialty meat and cheese trays will be among the many offerings available. Additionally, the market will also feature gourmet gift baskets featuring your favorite wine, craft beer or gourmet coffee, along with specialty food items.
Mia Market is owned and operated by CP Hospitality. CP Hospitality is the hospitality development and management company for Charles Pointe in Bridgeport.
