Charles Pointe will soon house a 5,000 square-foot medical facility where Dr. Patrick Bonasso, local obstetrician and gynecologist (OBGYN), will see patients, according to a press release.
"Charles Pointe is definitely the place to be. It’s the address to have. Everything is ultramodern in this community," Bonasso said.
James A. Corton, managing partner for Genesis Partners, the group developing the planned community, said the inclusion of medical professionals is perfectly in line with the development of Charles Pointe.
The faculty was designed by Schamu Machowski Greco Architects of Wheeling and is being built by Cook Brothers Construction of Fairmont. The facility will be handi-capped accessible, have nine treatment rooms, a small laboratory and patient-doctor consulting areas.
Family practitioner Dr. Susan Garner will also see patients at the new building, which will be located next to the Fairmont Federal Credit Union building.
Bonasso said that his office in Fairmont, located at 1703 Locust Ave., will remain open; his office at 168 Thompson Drive, Bridgeport, will close.
